FORMULA E New York E-Prix

5 July, 2021

The ABB FIA Formula E World Championship returns to the United States this weekend with two races around the streets of New York. The 100% electric series is more closely contested than ever and if the DS TECHEETAH drivers were to win this weekend, they could go to the top of the drivers’ and teams’ championships.

For this New York E-Prix, the drivers will be racing through the unforgiving streets of Brooklyn with the Manhattan skyline in the background as well as a stunning view of the Statue of Liberty. The New York circuit has often been kind to DS Automobiles, which has twice won on this track as a constructor, and it’s here that in 2019 Jean-Éric Vergne was crowned ABB FIA Formula E champion. This season, António Félix da Costa and JEV will be looking to leave the race in the lead of the drivers’ and teams’ championships.
